Job Title: Lead Purchased Power Semiconductor
Division/Department: CCO_Technical Development
Location: Tianjin
Key tasks:
1. Specification, characterization, simulation and validation of power
semiconductors (SiC MOSFET, GaN, IGBT etc.) in power modules for PWR
2. Evaluate the usability of power semiconductors by coordinating with
different suppliers
3. Peripheral design (substrate layout, gate driver connection, AVT, etc.)
for power semiconductors
4. Support in the analysis of anomalies with semiconductors as well as in the
planning and design of a strategic semiconductor portfolio and its
implementation in current and future pulse inverters
5. Evaluation of new semiconductor technologies for robust use in motor
vehicles as well as establishment and maintenance of a network with
international semiconductor companies, standardization bodies, research
institutions and experts
6. Timeline Adherence: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure
power semiconductors are delivered on time to meet project deadlines.
7. Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify
new power semiconductor technologies and suppliers, as well as potential risks
and opportunities.
8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on power semiconductor performance, and
costs, presenting findings and recommendations to management
Qualification and skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years' experience in power semiconductor (SiC, GaN, IGBT etc.)
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to
effectively negotiate with suppliers.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate
leadership qualities.
6. Familiarity with power semiconductor industry trends and technologies.
7. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
