第三屆大禹青年學者論壇

一、論壇介紹

中國農業(yè)大學大禹青年學者論壇，旨在圍繞建設“建設世界一流大學和一流學科”的發(fā)展目標，聚焦國際學術前沿，面向海內外匯聚一批獲得較高學術成果、具有創(chuàng)新發(fā)展?jié)摿Φ膬?yōu)秀青年人才，通過學術交流和深度研討，借助論壇平臺，促進交流合作，增進海內外青年學者對中國農業(yè)大學發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略、學科建設、科學研究、人才隊伍建設等政策體系的全面了解。

二、邀請范圍

1. 年齡40周歲以下、具有博士學位和兩年以上博士后研究經歷的國內外青年學者；

2．在所從事領域已取得突出的學術業(yè)績，已獲得學術界同行的高度認可，具有廣闊的學術視野和創(chuàng)新思維，有成為各學科領域領軍人才的潛質。

三、論壇時間安排

報名截止時間：2019年11月17日；

發(fā)放邀請時間：2019年12月8日-15日；

論壇報到時間：2019年12月25日；

論壇舉辦時間：2019年12月26-28日，26日主論壇及各分論壇; 27-28日學校人才引進評議會。

四、報名方式：

1. 網(wǎng)站報名：登陸網(wǎng)址http://dayu.cau.edu.cn，填寫報名信息。

2. 二維碼報名：

識別下方二維碼，按要求填寫報名信息，提交《中國農業(yè)大學2019年青年學者論壇報名表》（見附件1，以下簡稱《報名表》）。

3. 郵箱報名：將《報名表》（見附件1）以郵件發(fā)送至相關學院聯(lián)系郵箱（見附件2），郵件主題注明“姓名+擬聯(lián)系學院+青年學者論壇”，例如“張三+農學院+青年學者論壇”。

五、差旅及住宿

學校提供12月25日—28日4天的住宿和用餐。受邀參會的青年學者自訂機票，學校予以報銷經濟艙往返差旅費用（實報實銷，國際學者不超過2萬元人民幣，國內學者不超過5000元人民幣）。

六、中國農業(yè)大學簡介

i.about dayu forum

dayu young scholar forum of china agricultural university (cau) aims to build a “world class university and first class disciplines” as development goal by focusing on international academic frontier to attract outstanding young talents with high academic achievements, good innovation and development potential. through this platform, young scholars can comprehensively understand cau policies, including development strategy, discipline construction, scientific research, talents building and other aspects else by attending academic exchange and in-depth seminars.

ii.requirements

1.applicants should hold a doctoral degree, at least 2 years postdoc experience and under 40 years old.

2.applicants have acquired outstanding academic achievements in relevant fields with high recognition from peers, possessed broad academic vision, innovative thinking, and potential to become leading talent in specific research areas.

v.travel expenses

the accommodation expenses of 4 nights from december 25 to 28 will be fully covered by cau, along with travel costs (cost-based reimbursement: not more than rmb 20,000 for each overseas scholar and no more than rmb 5,000 for scholar in china). all meals will be arranged during the forum.

vi.about cau

established in 1905, as the cradle of the contemporary agricultural higher education in china, cau is one of the universities listed in 985 and 211 projects andworld class university with adisciplines, and directly subordinated to the ministry of education of china. this century-old university has become a research-based university specializing in agronomy, life science, agriculture engineering and food science. cau has integrated distinctive features and complementary advantages by setting up subject clusters, including agronomy and biotechnology, resources and environmental sciences, information and computer science, agricultural engineering and autonomous science, economic management and social science and etc. it has 20 colleges covering 9 disciplines categories, which are agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, law, literature, medicine and philosophy. among all disciplines, 9 of them were selected into the list of first-class discipline, containing biology, agricultural engineering、food science and engineering, crop science, agricultural resource and environment, plant protection , zootechny, veterinary medicine and agrostology.

cau’s two campuses are belonging to haidian district, a highland of education in beijing, where top universities gathered. east campus is on xueyuan road and adjacent to olympic forest park, while the west campus is located by the side of classical royal gardens.

cau attaches great importance to talents’ recruitment and training, and sincerely welcome excellent youth to join us. for young scholars who have achieved outstanding performance, with the approval of the committees, could be hired as professors. the university will provide a competitive remuneration package and a research start-up fund, give professors priority of postgraduate enrollment quota and privilege to rent campus apartment at a preferential price (free of charge if apartment is under 105 square meters).
